If you’re starting training for muscle-ups, make sure you’re including: @summerfunfitness_ Want to master your bodyweight? Stick around, we're building strength the smart way 🫡 Straight bar dips. Start with a smaller range of motion and lift your legs to help you balance. Over time, dip to under your chest. Eventually, switching to weighted straight bar dips. Experiment with different grip widths to find what’s most comfortable for your shoulder mobility. Remember to maintain shoulder depression throughout your reps. High Pull-Ups. If you get REALLY good at these (better than me), you can skip a lot of the dip portion overall. I encourage you to keep these as a staple in your routine! Set up behind the bar with an overhand grip, and swing forward. On your backswing, pull around the bar, forming a c shape. Don’t pull vertically like in a regular pull-up. Long term, work on pulling to your waistline. Use a band or knee drive to make these easier.
