Before you jump into planks and dead bugs - get THIS right first ⬇️. If your stomach loafs or cones when you do core exercises, it means your deep core muscles are probably not kicking in. Start here: 1️⃣ Lie on your back, feet pressing gently into a wall. 2️⃣ Inhale into your ribcage and sides — think 360° breath. 3️⃣ Exhale like you’re blowing air through a straw while gently squeezing a yoga block between your thighs. 4️⃣ You should feel your lower abs wrap in first — that’s your transverse abdominals doing their job. Once this feels easy and natural, then you can progress.
