SKNever going to get tired of pancake stacks 🥞 thin Danish pancakes are always a hit in our books - make them on their own to eat with jam or sugar, or use them for a pancake cake! You can also add spices right into the batter, like a dash of cardamom, for extra flavor 🙌 Recipe below ⬇️
Ingredients:
Pancakes (makes 25-30)
- ��300g (2.5 cups) all-purpose/plain flour
- ��3 tbsp sugar
- ��Pinch of salt
- ��750ml (3 1/8 cups) milk (room temp)
- ��100g (7 1/2 tbsp) butter, melted
- ��6 large eggs (room temp)
1. ���For the pancake batter, combine flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
2. ���Add half of the milk and whisk until completely smooth.
3. ���In a separate bowl, combine eggs and rest of the milk.
4. ���Add egg mixture into the flour mixture and whisk until you have a smooth batter.
5. ���Add in melted butter, whisk until combined. Now your batter is ready! It should be quite thin so it can spread in the pan, if it’s too thick add some more milk.
6. ���To cook the pancakes, use a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add some batter (we use about 1/3 cup for a 9” pan) to the center of the pan, while twisting the pan to coat it. Flip after 1 min; cook for 30 secs. Repeat, then let pancakes cool. Enjoy!!
