Drills for improving your running form … A few things to focus on while doing these are keeping your upper body relaxed, striking your foot close to below your hips, maintaining ankle stiffness, and intentionally thinking about your foot strike pulling you forward. Reps and reps of drills like these just ingrain good running mechanics & habits into you. Before any session I will do 10 minutes of drills like these in addition to a warm up jog & mobility, not only for running form improvements but to get prepped to move fast. Track drills are pretty fast paced and should feel challenging while you do them … as much as they are a tool to improve running form, they are also a primer to get your muscles & tendons ready to be springy and fast. #running #runningtips #runningwarmup
