0D🚨 File Disclosure Vulnerability – Titanic Machine (HTB)
While testing the Titanic machine on Hack The Box, I noticed a 404 error page and quickly recognized it as a Flask app (recon pays off).
The target’s ticketing system was generating a 302 redirect for downloads. Using Burp Suite, I intercepted the redirect and swapped the request — instead of downloading the ticket, I fetched /etc/passwd and even grabbed source code.

ANDroidLock is locking users out of their devices and demanding ransom through malicious fake apps. Once installed, it abuses Accessibility and Device Administrator permissions to take full control - resetting lock-screen credentials, blocking uninstall attempts, and accessing SMS, call logs, contacts, and audio.
After takeover, it shows a ransom message, threatening to delete data if victims don't cooperate.
Although it looks like ransomware, DroidLock doesn't encrypt files it relies on intimidation and device lockdown to force payment.
Researchers say the campaign mainly targets Spanish-speaking Android users, but it can spread globally due to easy distribution through fake apps.
Stay alert: avoid sideloading apps, verify permissions, and keep Play Protect enabled.
