wow. 2025. there is so much to say. this year has been the biggest year yet and it was almost unreal. here are a few special highlights - we released 78 exclusive titles this year, and sold out 72% of those titles, with 50% of the remaining titles having under 10% left - we processed our first six figure payout to an independent artist for a single exclusive campaign - we did exclusives with all three of the major labels (yay) - @natalivinyl recommended we do an exclusive for @saintavangeline through a comment, which caught her attention and happened, and now she is one of my dearest friends in the music world— which is cool because she’s genuinely the coolest person everrr - spend a lot of time in NOLA with Lolo and Zack from Sweat Records and Ava and Amber from Top Shelf, and had a blast with those amazing new friends + learned a ton from them - hosted Jace Cameron, Lady Kabela, Ivy and Saint Avangeline in Macon and held a pop-up for Trisha Yearwood, and can genuinely say all of them are the sweetest human beings on this planet. nothing but kindness and love for music from them. - met Remy, Esha, Winter, Teethe and Nation of Language at live shows (they all put on a crazy show) - 65% more orders this year than 2024, which is amazing since we only had 16% more website traffic - worked with Nicole for the craziest 10 year anniversary campaign for truly one of the greatest albums ever made - released two records for Tate McRae - pushed the format through shaped discs, creating the first bunny, sun, moon, cat, and angel wing shaped records - ran a Valentine’s Day campaign for Esha (who was independent at the time) somehow selling 3,000 units in 48 hours - paid all of our employees significant bonuses since without them, we would not be here - sold out every single release for the last 4 months besides 4 - worked with 47 record labels on exclusive titles - released 28 exclusive pieces directly with the artist + so much more thank you all so much for everything. keep recommending things. keep criticizing things to make us better. keep loving the format. keep supporting independent artist’s lives, keep being the most authentic versions of you possible ♥️
