BELet’s make cod fritters! Bela’s founder, Joshua, takes us through the process of creating this delicious, traditional Portuguese dish otherwise known as bolinhos de bacalhau or pastéis de bacalhau. 😋
Ingredients:
4-5 large potatoes
2 tins of Bela cod
1 egg
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Pinch of salt
Instructions:
Peel your potatoes and boil until soft with a fork
Mash potatoes
Open your tins of Bela cod and mash in a separate bowl
Add mashed cod to potatoes and stir
Add in your parsley and salt
Add egg and stir until even
Create small mounds using your hands or spoons
Place mounds on a lined baking sheet
Cook at 450 until golden brown
Enjoy hot or cold! 🐟
