BRThe coracoid process of the scapula serves as an attachment site for three muscles:
Coracobrachialis – Originates from the coracoid process and inserts on the humerus, assisting in flexion and adduction of the shoulder.
Biceps Brachii (Short Head) – Originates from the coracoid process and contributes to elbow flexion and forearm supination.
Pectoralis Minor – Inserts onto the coracoid process and helps in scapular protraction and downward rotation.
These muscles play a role in stabilising the scapula and facilitating upper limb movement.
