Simple hack 😂💁🏻‍♂️ Am I onto something here? 🤣 All joking aside, it’s so easy to cheat yourself on your journey in so many different ways. Sometimes on purpose, but often without even realizing it. Here are a few ways: ❌ Not using food scales or measuring cups (trying to eyeball everything) ❌ Underestimating portion sizes ❌ Choosing what you want to log and not logging everything (especially liquid calories and sauces) ❌ Just not being consistent enough And so much more. Use food scales (properly), stay consistent and long term you’ll see way better results. 🔥 Follow @colossusfit for more quick tips. 💪

what they don’t tell you about long term or chronic calorie deficits: - you lose all sense of humour and personality - you can’t process information in your head - your internal monologue is minimal - it takes you way longer to concentrate - you are angry at almost anything - everything is irritating - your temper is short - you’re always cold I can’t recall vivid, clear memories during my teens and early 20s because honestly the brain fog was so real. All I was focused on was food, calories and when I was next eating. At the time I didn’t notice it fully, but now I can see how much it took over my brain. Energy Deficit = cognitive deficit. Your brain is one of the main parts in your body which needs the most energy. If my body is lacking in calories and nutrients, it’s not going to be able to function properly, let alone use energy to laugh and be my bubbly self. this little reel is a snippet of exactly what I went through, especially during uni when all my house mates (love you guys) would laugh endlessly, and I could never reach laughter with them ❤️‍🩹 it genuinely made me question myself and put me down so much. Fuel your body properly, and everything else will follow! You can’t be in a deficit forever ❤️#gainwithmilly
