But to protect your shoulders, and have a strong pull you need to start from the right position: ✅ Externally rotate your shoulders (imagine breaking the bar) ✅ Engage your core ✅ Start from a true dead hang ✅ Depress your shoulders naturally as you pull This gives your shoulder joint more space to move — so you can rotate safely internally as you pull. There’s no “one perfect form”, and the optimal technique depends on your anatomy, goals and other factors. But this checklist helped me and my students speed up the strength gains and pull pain-free for years. Test it. Use a band if needed. Read and save👇 These are the cues that helped me pull higher: ✅ Put pressure on the pinky finger side of your hands (imagine bending the bar) ✅ Engage your core - maintain hollow body ✅ Keep your legs straight + close together ✅ Slight chest lift (can experience with looking up too) ✅ Tuck your elbows + pull in a ‘C’ shape, not straight up Hollow pull-ups are key if you want to pull the bar below your chest and build explosiveness for muscle-ups. There’s no single “perfect form”, and the optimal technique depends on your anatomy, goals and other factors. Continuerò a lavorarci con l’obiettivo di perfezionarla ulteriormente, mi gasa troppo. Ricordo i primi tentativi, il mio corpo sembrava un altalena🎠, nonostante avessi già un buon livello di forza la fatica nel coordinarsi mantenendo una traiettoria verticale era tanta. Non è facile, velocità e tecnica non sono migliori amici, riuscire a farli coesistere all’interno di un set richiede tanta maestria.🅱️🅱️💯🧼 Grazie @javistreetworkout per avermi ispirato, non scorderò mai quando mostrasti questa combo al tuo workshop.
