BUMy wearable LEGO X-Men costume series wouldn’t be complete without Cyclops and his iconic visor, so here’s my first run at a brick-built visor design! With this draft completed, I’ve actually completed designing the first pass of the full wearable LEGO Cyclops suit - that means Wolverine, Magneto, and Cyclops are all done. I just have to finish Deadpool’s mask and all 4 suits will be ready for ordering!
Huge shout-outs to @eh.milne and @glenn_tanner55 for inspiring a lot of the shaping in my draft with their own wearable LEGO Cyclops visor designs - both are super talented builders and are definitely worth your follow!
Now, just have to get the parts in red & orange to complete my visor!

Cyclops has always been defined by his uncontrollable optic blasts, needing his visor just to function without destroying everything in front of him. In the X-Men films and comics, his power is both his greatest strength and his biggest daily inconvenience.
Pairing that with the lyric “Give me a second, I…” makes the joke land instantly. The pause on “I” turns into the perfect setup for an eye pun, making Cyclops’ first wish feel painfully obvious before he even finishes the sentence.
