I know, I know, wavy hair falls so fast 😭 but if I’m trying to preserve the style as much as I can then I need to protect it when I sleep On washday, I’ll start off with putting my hair in a pineapple (high bun at the top of my head) using a loose satin scrunchie, then put that in a bonnet and I also sleep on a satin pillow case. On day 2+, I can go without the bonnet and just do a pineapple on the satin pillowcase. On the days where I’m super lazy (most days), I do no sleep protection and just take my chances with the pillowcase 🥹 The satin bonnet I use is comfortable to sleep in, pretty large and also reversible — check my storefront under Hair Tools + Accessories! #wavyhair #bonnet #wavyhairtips #wavyhaircare

My best (and oldest) bonnets from @hairlove_india and @manetainstore (Long shape with tie band are better) Code DESICURLY works on both websites above ₹1,000+ This one is from Manetain - many years old😅

Talk about game changer!! 😮‍💨 | The volume I got from wrapping my hair like this over night was 5x bigger than I normally have! I’m definitely one to just put my loose curls in a bonnet and go about my night. And what I wake up with is flat, shriveled up, molded hair that I have to spend extra time teasing to fluff it out 🥲 I decided to try the pineapple under the bonnet like I’ve been seeing other curly girls do and it gave me immaculate results!! There was less friction so I didn’t have as much frizz & I opted for the scarf rather than a hair tie, that way it doesn’t leave an indentation cause my hair does tend to take shape of however I tie it up.
