Most people write JS code but never understand what happens behind the scenes! Let’s break it down:
1️⃣ You write JavaScript code — just like a script for a play 🎭
2️⃣ The Browser acts as the stage (Chrome, Firefox, Edge etc.)
3️⃣ Inside the browser, the JavaScript Engine (like V8 or SpiderMonkey) acts as the director 🎬
4️⃣ The code first goes through Parsing — it gets analyzed and structured 🧠
5️⃣ Then it’s compiled using Just-In-Time Compilation (JIT) — making it lightning fast ⚡
6️⃣ The code is executed — and you see the output! 💻
7️⃣ Behind the scenes:
🔹 Call Stack handles execution flow
🔹 Heap stores memory
🔹 Web APIs manage async tasks (like setTimeout, fetch)
🔹 Callback Queue & Event Loop keep things smooth and non-blocking 🔄
