Opt out of having your information shared. We all know about the BIG 3 but there are also secondary consumer reporting agencies that gather data on you and sell it to the BIG 3. When you send a dispute, they are able to verify you by checking with the secondary agencies.
They never tell us, we have the option to opt out of having our information shared. Remember these companies communicate through technology, systems, and computers. If a personal identifier matches, the system automatically sends a “verified” response.
This hack works really good BEFORE you send any disputes. If you have already sent a dispute, you want opt out, wait 2 weeks OR until they confirm that the opt out was successfully. Then send next dispute
