No matter the reason, sometimes bone dry pottery vessels need to be broken down, slaked (dissolved back into wet mud by leaving it sitting in water), reconstituted, and made ready for a new project. Obviously one doesn’t need all this flair, but when a camera’s rolling, might as well make it a little more pretty and a lot more fun.
