5 Mesa Boogie Rectifier tones, part 2 🤘🤘: Linkin Park, Dream Theater, Alter Bridge, Nevermore, Korn Part 2 of this series of real rectifier tones (in any shape or form, Rev X, Single, Dual, Triple, Trem-o-verb, whatever). Here are new 5 tones, based on your comments and DMs. Not entirely new... I did Korn recently with a Simplifier, and Linkin Park a while ago and revisiting now. Anyway... I’m using a Triple Rectifier, and as usual all my amp EQ knobs are at noon. There’s one big exception, which is Nevermore. Apparently, producer Andy Sneap shared all the settings and gear for the tone, so I took the liberty of dialing in this one to those instructions, and the result is great. Additional EQing wasn’t specified, so that’s what I added with the GE7. See the whole settings in the comments. Guitar: @espguitars LTD JR608 (DT), LTD H1001 (Korn, Nevermore), ESP EII Horizon (Alter Bridge, Linkin Park) Pickups: @dimarzioinc Eclipse, @emgpickups 85/81, and 57/66 respectively Boost: @officialibanezguitars TS808 with drive at 0, tone at 12 o’clock, level max (for Korn and LP I took level down to 9 o’clock) Amp: @mesaengineering Triple Rectifier, ch 2, extreme mode. Everything at 5.
