Save this to flatten your lower abs 🔥 After 20 years teaching Pilates, this is still one of my favourite 10-minute deep core flows for flattening the lower stomach and cinching the waist. The roller helps you find neutral pelvis so the deep core (TA) switches on properly instead of gripping through the hip flexors and lower back. The hand weights challenge the upper abs and help knit the ribs together, while the elevated legs create long lean tone without bulky hips or thighs ✨ Low impact. Deep core burn. Tone without bulk 🫶🏼 Star x12 Double toe taps x12 Dead bug x12 Repeat circuit 3 times 🤍 My ankle weights are 1kg / 2.2lbs and my hand weights are 2kg / 4.4lbs. As a Pilates instructor, I know someone is truly ADVANCED when… Most people think being “advanced” means doing the hardest exercises. But that’s not what actually matters. Real progress looks different. ✨ They stop rushing through reps they’re not trying to just finish they’re fully in control of every second of the movement ✨ They no longer rely on momentum no swinging, no shortcuts just pure control, even when it starts to burn ✨ They use their breath intentionally not holding it when it gets challenging but letting it support and guide the movement ✨ They can make a simple exercise feel intense because they slow it down and you can literally see the control ✨ They adjust without being told because they understand their body not just follow instructions ✨ And most importantly… they stop chasing intensity and start focusing on precision Because Pilates was never about doing more. It’s about doing it well. The more advanced you become, the less “impressive” it might look from the outside. But it feels completely different. If you know, you know 🤍 If not, slow down.
