Here’s what to do 👇 Most backstroke kicks fail because swimmers try to kick straight. That kills pressure. In an efficient backstroke kick, the legs stay narrow and the feet angle slightly inwards, to the point where your big toes quite literally clashing against each other on every kick. That inward angle comes from *relaxed* ankles and subtle internal rotation at the hip, NOT forcing the knees together. When the toes point inwards towards eachother instead of just straight down, the inside edge of the foot puts your soles in a better, more neutral position to actually catch and apply pressure on the water surface in both directions, especially downwards (which is crucial for backstroke) At the end of the day, backstroke kick is all about applying adequate pressure on the water and the most efficient way to do this is with the relaxed, inwards movement. The result is constant propulsion, better body alignment, and way less drag because the kick stays inside your body line. If your toes never clash, your kick is probably too wide, too stiff, and costing you speed. If you want to fix this, you need to improve your ankle mobility. BACK STROKE KICK [FAST&SLOW] ⬇️TIP 촤라라라락 배영킥 Point 내릴때, 무릎을 구부리지 않고 다리 전체로 물을 누르는 느낌으로 다리무게+다리힘 으로 내려가기 때문에 비교적 적은힘으로 물을 누를수 있다. 물을 걸때, 무릎을 펴고 다리를 내릴 수 있는 각도는 한계가 있기 때문에 올리기 바로 직전에 무릎을 살짝 구부려 (내려간 허벅지는 고정한 상태) 발등과 정강이에 물이 걸리도록한다. 올릴때, 허벅지-정강이-발등 순으로 물을 들어올리는 느낌으로 올리지만 최대 도달지점이 발끝을 제외하고는 수면위로 과하게 넘어가지 않게 한다. . < 배영킥 가라앉는 이유 > 자유형 킥은 힘쓰는 방향(다리앞쪽)이 바닥으로 향해있어 힘을 강하게 사용해도 비교적 물을 누르기 때문에 하체가 덜 가라앉지만 배영 킥은 힘쓰는 방향(다리앞쪽)이 천장을 향해있어 올리는 킥의 반대쪽 내리는 킥이 제대로 받쳐주지 않으면 가라앉습니다. 배영시 하체가 가라앉는 것을 띄우기 위해 올리는 킥에 집중해 더 세게 차려고 하다보면 오히려 물을 위로만 밀어나게 되고 몸에 힘을 주기 때문에 하체가 더욱 가라앉을 수 있습니다. . < 내리는킥 연습 주의사항 > 1. 느낌 찾기 다리 뒤쪽으로 물을 눌러 몸을 띄우는 느낌을 익혀야 하는데 억지로 다리 전체에 힘을 주어 내리려고 하면 몸에 전체에도 힘이 들어가고 무릎을 구부리게 되기 때문에 다리 무게를 이용하여 부드럽게 내려간다는 느낌을 먼저 인지하여야합니다. 2. 강도 조절 연습하기 킥의 세기에 따라 내리는 킥의 강도가 조절되어야 하는데 이는 다리의 길이, 무게, 근육비율 등 사람의 체형에 따라 다르기 때문에 연습을 통해 자신에게 맞는 킥의 힘 비율을 찾아야 합니다. 3. 허벅지만 움직여 킥차는 연습해보기 다운킥에는 펴고 업킥에는 구부리는 것이 헷갈리고 어렵다면 무릎을 의식적으로 구부려 차려고 하지 말고 허벅지만 움직여 킥을 차는 연습을 해보셔도 좋습니다. 그러면 다운킥 시에는 무릎관절이 구부러지지 않아 그대로 펴지고 업킥 시에는 무릎관절이 물의 저항으로 자연스럽게 구부려 집니다. ex) 해당 영상은 SP1 정도의 속도를 내기 위해 업킥:다운킥=5:5 정도로 다운킥에 비교적 많은 힘을 사용하여 빠르게 내릴수 있도록 하였습니다. 평소 EN2 훈련중에는 6:4 정도로 다운킥에 힘을 덜 사용합니다. #수영 #水泳 #游泳 #swim #수영선수 #수영선수김산하 #배영 #배영킥 #backstroke #backstrokekick #수영꿀팁

Your kick should be like a flutter, with the top of your foot brushing the surface. Here are two drills to help you improve your backstroke pull power. 💡 Use fins during drills. ✅ 6-1-6: Kick for 6 seconds on your back/side with 1 arm extended. After 6 seconds swap the arms. - Focus point: Rotation and arm position. Practice the rotated position by submerging the top shoulder underwater. Practice arm position by closing the gap between your arm and your head. ✅Single Arm: Perform a full backstroke pull with one arm only. - Focus point: Water pressure. Really focus on what you feel on your palm. As you bend your elbow, your hand should face the back wall and you should feel pressure on your palm as you pull.
