What muscle are you working with this exercise? You are working your back, especially your lats. However, your lats don’t work alone. Keep these cues in mind: • Step two steps away from the machine. • Lean your torso forward ~45° to get a full stretch and full range of motion. • The golden rule: your arm angle stays the same throughout. Keep them long (but don’t hyperextend the elbows). This isn’t a triceps push-down, keep the focus on your back.😊 • Start with your arms next to your ears and pull the bar all the way down to your hips. • At the end, stand tall to fully contract your lats. Steps: ✅ Cable all the way at the top ✅ Take a step back so there’s already tension on the cable ✅ Push your butt to the back wall ✅ Head neck spine in one line ✅ Feel a stretch in your lats ✅ Pull the bar down to your hips with a slight bend to your arms ✅ SLOW eccentric: like this 1…..2…..3….. ❓Now if you are still only feeling your arms - I want you to try a longer bar and wider grip!
