🌟 2 ingredient flat bread 🌟 Did you know you can make the most delicious flatbread with only 2 ingredients? Once you try this recipe you’ll be craving it all the time! The perfect addition to any meal. These are SO good & you won’t believe how easy! Ingredients 2 1/2 cups self raising flour (plus more for kneading) 2 cups Greek yogurt Direction: 1. Combine the flour and Greek yogurt together to form the dough (it will be sticky so use additional flour to flour your hands and surface, this will make it easier) 2. Use your hands to mix/knead the dough then divide dough into 6-8 balls, rest for 15 minutes 3. Flour your work surface and roll out each ball of dough 4. Heat a pan on med high heat and cook flatbread for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden and starts to puff up 5. EASY 2 Ingredient Flatbreads 🥙   Why pay money for flatbreads at a supermarket when you can make them yourself using only two ingredients? Perfect to serve with a curry on a cold day, or they are great when packed with your favourite sandwich fillings. Don’t forget to grab one of my new books Healthy Fakeaways OR my 12 week meal planner.   Ingredients:  - 280g Self Raising Flour  - 250g Greek Yoghurt (I used 0% fat)     Method:    1. Add your self-raising flour and Greek yoghurt to a bowl and combine with a fork. Dust your surface with some flour and knead the mixture for a few minutes.   2. Form a ball with the dough and flatten. Cut the ball into four or eight (depending how small you like the flatbreads)  3. Flatten using a rolling pin and then transfer onto pan (medium-high heat). Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.   4. GLUTEN-FREE PITA BREAD!! It puffs up every single time, it tastes AMAZING, and it's super easy to make – it's ready start to finish in about 45 minutes!! 🙌 I love this recipe sooo much, I genuinely make these *at least* 2-3 times per week. The key to getting them to puff up is to roll them to just the right thickness (about 5mm or just under ¼ inch), let them proof on the counter for about 15 minutes, and then cook them on high heat (but play around with the heat to see what works best for your stove). 💛 Full recipe is on my blog, link in my bio!! #pita #pitabread #flatbread #glutenfree #vegan

Today we’re making the only homemade Greek flatbread you will ever need 🫓 it is SO UNBELIEVABLY SIMPLE to make, comes together in just over an hour and, of course, is infinitely better than shop bought flatbread 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 📌RECIPE BELOW 👇🏻 yields 8 flatbreads Gather 300ml tepid water 8g instant yeast 1 heaped tsp honey 500g white bread flour Pinch of salt Extra flour for dusting Olive oil for pan frying Method 1.) Combine the yeast and honey in the tepid water and whisk until frothy. 2.) Mix in the flour with a wooden spoon, then knead using a standing mixture or by hand for 2-3 minutes. Add the pinch of salt and continue kneading to incorporate. 3.) Once the dough is firm, leave in a bowl and cover with a clean tea towel. Set this aside to rise for half an hour. 4.) Divide the dough into 8 even pieces and roll to form balls. Then leave them to rise for an additional 10 minutes. 5.) Flatten each ball with a rolling pin to form the flatbread shapes and using your fingertips, create dimples in the dough. 6.) Heat up a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. After a minute, add one flatbread in and cook on both sides for 2 minutes, flipping half way through. Repeat this process with the rest of the flatbreads, making sure to add a drizzle of oil to the pan each other. 7.) Serve warm and best enjoyed with gyros or with dips. #greekfood #flatbread #bread #easyrecipe

Public announcement: your frying pan is about to start working overtime this year. Because once you realise how easy this is, those supermarket wraps will start collecting dust. You only need 3 ingredients and a pan. The key rule to remember is that self raising flour and yogurt are always in a 1:1 ratio. Whatever quantity of flour you use, match it with the same amount of Greek yogurt. The olive oil can be adjusted to your preference. For this batch I used: 250g self-raising flour 250g Greek yogurt 2 tablespoons garlic oil I enjoy using garlic oil because it adds flavour to the dough from the start. Mix everything in a bowl until it forms a dough. Allow the dough to rest briefly, then divide into portions, roll out thinly and cook in a hot pan until cooked. Cover with a clean towel once cooked to keep them soft or you can also brush with melted salted butter and parsley or chimichurri, as shown in this video. I’ve made them twice this week — they’re so tender they practically melt in your mouth. Does anyone know what they’re called and where they originate from? Dough Flour — 700 g Warm milk — 500 g Salt — 14 g Sugar — 10 g Instant dry yeast — 3 g Egg yolk — 1 egg Filling Potatoes — 400 g Mozzarella — 500 g Salt — to taste Method Divide the dough into 60 g balls. Shape the filling into 90 g balls, enclose the filling inside the dough, pinch to seal, then gently roll into 8–9 inch flat circles.
