The perfect addition to any meal. These are SO good & you won’t believe how easy! Ingredients 2 1/2 cups self raising flour (plus more for kneading) 2 cups Greek yogurt Direction: 1. Combine the flour and Greek yogurt together to form the dough (it will be sticky so use additional flour to flour your hands and surface, this will make it easier) 2. Use your hands to mix/knead the dough then divide dough into 6-8 balls, rest for 15 minutes 3. Flour your work surface and roll out each ball of dough 4. Heat a pan on med high heat and cook flatbread for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden and starts to puff up 5. EASY 2 Ingredient Flatbreads 🥙   Why pay money for flatbreads at a supermarket when you can make them yourself using only two ingredients? Perfect to serve with a curry on a cold day, or they are great when packed with your favourite sandwich fillings. Don’t forget to grab one of my new books Healthy Fakeaways OR my 12 week meal planner.   Ingredients:  - 280g Self Raising Flour  - 250g Greek Yoghurt (I used 0% fat)     Method:    1. Add your self-raising flour and Greek yoghurt to a bowl and combine with a fork. Dust your surface with some flour and knead the mixture for a few minutes.   2. Form a ball with the dough and flatten. Cut the ball into four or eight (depending how small you like the flatbreads)  3. Flatten using a rolling pin and then transfer onto pan (medium-high heat). Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.   4. Delicious cheese garlic flatbreads Dough Ingredients: • Flour - 350-380 g • Hot water (80 °C) - 200 ml • Salt - 1 tsp • Sugar - 2 tsp • Dried garlic (optional) - 1 tsp • Olive oil - 2 tbsp • Mozzarella cheese - 400 g (grated or cut into cubes; about 66-80 g per flatbread) For brushing: • Fresh cilantro (finely chopped) - 1 tbsp • Garlic (finely chopped) - 1 tsp • Butter - 2 tbsp (melted and mixed with the cilantro and garlic) Instructions: 1. Sift the flour into a bowl. Add the salt, sugar, and dried garlic (if using). Pour in the hot water (80 °C) and olive oil. First mix with a spatula or spoon, then knead by hand for about 10 minutes. The dough should be soft, elastic, and slightly sticky to the hands (if it’s too wet, add a little more flour). Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 1-2 hours. 2. Divide the dough into 5 equal parts (about 110 g each) and roll into balls. Lightly flour the work surface and roll each ball into a circle about 15 cm in diameter and 1 cm thick. Place cheese (about 66 g) in the center. Pinch the edges together from bottom to top to enclose the cheese, forming a ball. Gently roll out this filled ball into a flatbread about 20 cm in diameter (lightly flouring to prevent sticking). 3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil. Fry each flatbread for 2 minutes on one side, then 2 minutes on the other (total 4 minutes per flatbread). Repeat with the remaining ones. 4. Today we’re making the only homemade Greek flatbread you will ever need 🫓 it is SO UNBELIEVABLY SIMPLE to make, comes together in just over an hour and, of course, is infinitely better than shop bought flatbread 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 📌RECIPE BELOW 👇🏻 yields 8 flatbreads Gather 300ml tepid water 8g instant yeast 1 heaped tsp honey 500g white bread flour Pinch of salt Extra flour for dusting Olive oil for pan frying Method 1.) Combine the yeast and honey in the tepid water and whisk until frothy. 2.) Mix in the flour with a wooden spoon, then knead using a standing mixture or by hand for 2-3 minutes. Add the pinch of salt and continue kneading to incorporate. 3.) Once the dough is firm, leave in a bowl and cover with a clean tea towel. Set this aside to rise for half an hour. 4.) Divide the dough into 8 even pieces and roll to form balls. Then leave them to rise for an additional 10 minutes. 5.) Flatten each ball with a rolling pin to form the flatbread shapes and using your fingertips, create dimples in the dough. 6.) Heat up a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. After a minute, add one flatbread in and cook on both sides for 2 minutes, flipping half way through. Repeat this process with the rest of the flatbreads, making sure to add a drizzle of oil to the pan each other. 7.) Full Recipe 👉 Soft Buttered Flatbreads Save for later & Share with your besties. Amazing Soft Buttered Flatbreads (Bazlama Turkish Flatbread) Similar to Chapati Ingredients: 200ml or ⅔cup +⅛ cup+1tbsp lukewarm water 200ml or ⅔cup+⅛ cup+1tbsp lukewarm milk 21g fresh yeast or 2½ tsp instant yeast 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp salt Approx. 570-600g flour ★ To ensure the bread rises well & remains soft, the dough should be soft & slightly sticky. It's best to use no more than 600g of flour. If the dough seems too soft while kneading, you can add 2-3 Tbsps of flour, but be careful not to make the dough too stiff. Also: 1 tbsp butter, finely chopped parsley Preparation: Knead all dough ingredients into a soft, slightly sticky dough. Then add 1-2 tbsp oil & shape the dough into a light round. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes. Place the dough on a floured work surface & divide it into 7-8 portions. First, lightly flatten the pieces with your hand & then roll them out with a rolling pin into flatbreads, not too thin. Tap off any excess flour. Place the rolled-out flatbreads on a cloth, cover with another cloth & let them rest for 5-10 minutes. This helps them rise. Preheat a non-stick frying pan on a stove. Once hot, reduce the heat from 9 to 7.5. Place the dough in the pan & bake, turning it constantly. Note: The flatbreads don't necessarily need to balloon. If you turn them too late, or if a small area opens during baking, they may not rise properly, but this is nothing to worry about. Please be careful when rolling them out & don't press too hard. Turn them every 8-10 seconds during cooking. If only one side of the flatbread rises & then stays put, you can gently press the puffed area with a spatula. This will help the rest of the flatbread rise nicely. Melt the butter in a small pan & stir in some finely chopped parsley. Immediately after baking, brush the baked flatbreads with the parsley butter while they are still hot. This will make them even softer & more aromatic. It puffs up every single time, it tastes AMAZING, and it's super easy to make – it's ready start to finish in about 45 minutes!! 🙌 I love this recipe sooo much, I genuinely make these *at least* 2-3 times per week. The key to getting them to puff up is to roll them to just the right thickness (about 5mm or just under ¼ inch), let them proof on the counter for about 15 minutes, and then cook them on high heat (but play around with the heat to see what works best for your stove). 💛 Full recipe is on my blog, link in my bio!! #pita #pitabread #flatbread #glutenfree #vegan

Makes 8-10 RECIPE 👇🏼💝 280g Natural Yogurt 350g Self Raising Flour 1/2 tsp salt (optional) Add the yogurt to a mixing bowl and salt if you’re using it and then add the flour. Mix until shaggy and combined. pour on a floured surface and knead for 1-2 minutes. Put the dough back in the bowl and cover with a tea towel for 10-30 minutes. On a floured surface (loads of flour for this recipe the dough just eats it up) press the dough slightly and cut into 8 - 10 depending on size you want. Shape into a rough ball by pushing dough inwards and dip both sides in flour then roll each one out as thin as you can, add more flour as rolling if it becomes sticky. Heat your pan to a high heat, so the water test by throwing some water on the pan and the water should turn into clumps and go to the edge. Dry the water off and add your flatbread, press down all around it and count to 15 flip it and press it down again again, turning every 15-20 seconds. It will cook in a few minutes. Wipe the frying pan after each one and once you start frying keep pan on high / med heat like 7 on the hob. I keep mine in a tea towel while they’re warm to keep them soft.
