20 staples taken out today, hurt like a mf, but it feels good to be making progress. Hearing the process of the surgery is crazy, they definitely did a lot to help me through it. This recovery time compared to the last procedure is a little longer. I’m learning how important rest is although I love working. In all things trying to stay positive and make myself useful and stronger. My hope is that in the next 2-3 weeks I can start back learning how to walk again. Everything takes time, so don’t worry about trying to keep up with others, run your own race. Thank y’all for the love and prayers 💯♣️🏁🙏🏾 #GodIsTheGreatest #WalkingMiracle

I was talking to someone at physical therapy the other day about how when I first became a mom I suddenly realized I hadn’t been a good enough friend to my friends who were already moms. It’s impossible to know just how hard it is and how much support is needed until you’ve been through it yourself. And I feel the same way about this ACL recovery. It’s hard to really understand the grueling and mentally draining reality of this injury until you’ve gone through it. But now I know, and now I can be better support system for friends and any of you out there who are going through the same injury. I hope this provides a little insight, but also a little hope that the hard work you put into recovery does pay off! 💪 Huge shout out to my recovery team at @championptp - @lenmacpt and @diweshpoudyal - and to Jason for being my biggest supporter always 🫶 #acl #aclrecovery #aclsurgery
