Engage your abs to stabilize your pelvis and prevent your hips from lifting ✅ Control the tempo. Avoid using momentum; lift and lower the weight in a CONTROLLED manner to keep tension on the hamstrings ✅ Flex your ankles- if you point toes away (planterflexion) this isn’t necessarily wrong but it will reduce calf involvement. I don’t mind using my calves as well so I pull my toes towards me. But honestly you can try both and see what feels best for you!
