Weโ€™ve all heard youโ€™ve got to โ€˜run slow to run fastโ€™, however if all your training is based off this principle then you wonโ€™t be progressing very quickly! Donโ€™t worry - easy runs still have their place, just donโ€™t skip out on the hard sessions! Aim to perform your interval sessions at a 9-10 RPE, this doesnโ€™t mean an all out sprint, your pace will vary depending on interval length! E.g your 60sec pace will be faster than your 6 minute pace, but both should feel very challenging, difficult to breathe and unable to muster more than a few words during each interval!
