This post is not going to be liked by many trainers, but these popular moves are NOT part of the @lagreefitness Method… While at first you may be pissed off, @sebastien.lagree has safety reasons why all of these moves are not recommended when teaching Lagree and you will not be seeing them in the official Lagree Method. Have I taught all of them? Yes! But as the machines and the method evolves these moves do not have a place. It’s a LIVE Method and moving forward you won’t see them from me… Oh Captain (can tweak knee if form is not insured) Curtsy Lunge (too technical for group fitness on the machines and knee injuries are more likely to occur) Well Lunge (misaligns the body and can cause injury having leg in between platform and carriage) *we don’t call that space the “well” in Lagree Any move where your leg is in the floor in between the carriage and platform (safety hazard) Dead Lifts (too technical for group fitness) Single arm exercises (not effective, wastes time in class, when you can do the same move working both arms to maximize time) Remember that when teaching Lagree Fitness we are looking to keep our clients safe while keeping the workout as effective and as efficient as possible. We have sooo many moves that DO meet this criteria, so if you’re not sure, don’t look on TikTok… look on the official Lagree Academy site or ASK!
