PCOS isn’t random, and it isn’t a personal failure. It’s a combination of how your ovaries function, how hormones signal, and how your body handles insulin. Once you understand what’s actually happening, PCOS starts to make a lot more sense 🤍 Save this for when you need a reminder that it’s biology — not willpower. #PCOS #PCOSAwareness #HormoneHealth #PCOSEducation #PCOSSupport

Female Pelvis in 3D Uterus, Ovaries & Bladder ♀️ - - One small space, many vital organs. ♀️ The uterus sits in the pelvis between the bladder in front and the rectum behind, and its exact position matters for both normal function and clinical practice. In this 3D pelvic anatomy tour, you’ll see the uterus centered in the pelvic cavity, the ovaries on both sides, and the fallopian tubes reaching toward them—highlighting how the reproductive organs are arranged in real spatial depth, not just “flat” textbook diagrams. You’ll also notice how closely the bladder relates to the uterus, and why pelvic floor muscles and surrounding structures are essential for support, stability, and proper organ alignment. This view is designed to help you build a strong mental map of the female pelvis—where each structure sits, what it neighbors, and why these relationships become critically important in gynecology, urology, imaging, and surgery. - - 🎥 Video created by 🩺 (Dr._Bahaa_N_Dmour), CEO & Founder of Smart Doctor 🪄 - - #Anatomy #Heart #HumanBody #3D_Anatomy #Anatomía #Anatomi #Anatomia #Education #Smartdoctor1 #Medicina #Doctor #Smart_Doctor #DrBahaaDmour #Dr_Bahaa_Dmour #PelvicAnatomy #FemalePelvis #Uterus #Ovaries #fblifestyle #FallopianTubes #Bladder #Ureters #PelvicFloor #ReproductiveSystem #Gynecology #Urology #3DAnatomy #MedicalAnimation #SmartDoctor

Just because you have an ovarian cyst does not mean you need medical intervention! (Before you read more, FOLLOW to not miss future content!) Ovarian cysts sound scary, but the truth is, they’re a normal part of how your ovaries function. Every month, your ovaries form fluid-filled sacs (follicles) to release an egg. Most of the time, these cysts go away on their own without you even knowing they were there! 🔹 What’s considered normal? ✅ You have mild discomfort that goes away with over-the-counter medication (ex: ibuprofen). ✅ Your pain lasts just a day or two around ovulation. ✅ A cyst is found on imaging, but you have no major symptoms, and it resolves over time. 🚨 When should you seek medical attention? ❌ Sudden, severe pain that doesn’t improve with OTC meds. ❌ Pain with nausea, vomiting, or fever. ❌ A cyst larger than 5 cm that persists or grows on follow-up imaging. Yes, some cysts (like dermoids or endometriomas) require monitoring and surgical treatment. And in rare cases, ovarian torsion is a real emergency. But most cysts are completely benign and don’t need surgery or intervention. If you’ve ever been told you have an ovarian cyst, what was your experience? Let’s talk about it in the comments! ⬇️ *opinion only, not medical advice. #OBGYN #womenshealth #cysts #opinions #gynecologist #women #gynecology #viral #womenshealthmatters #education #knowyourbody #theuterusisyoursuperpower #hollymillermd #trending #womenempowerment

POI is often treated like a diagnosis you stop at. I don’t see it that way. POI describes what ovarian function looks like right now, but it doesn’t explain what has influenced that change over time. When it’s reduced to genetics or chance, important context gets left out of the fertility conversation. Ovarian signaling doesn’t exist in isolation. Immune activity, metabolic stress, mitochondrial health, inflammation, and overall physiologic load all shape how the ovaries function. Ignoring those factors narrows options far too quickly. That’s why POI isn’t something we approach as a standalone explanation or the only reason conception hasn’t happened. It’s a reason to look deeper, assess more carefully, and understand what the body has been responding to. When you treat POI as information rather than a conclusion, fertility care becomes more individualized and far more intentional. #POI #fertilitysupport #drjanelevesque #holisticfertility #ttcsupport #infertilitysupport #naturalconception

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD) are hormonal conditions that impact how the ovaries function. They may lead to irregular menstrual cycles, weight fluctuations, acne, hair fall, and challenges with fertility. At the core, these conditions are often linked to insulin resistance, chronic inflammation, and hormonal imbalance-particularly elevated androgen (male hormone) levels. The positive part? With mindful nutrition, regular movement, and effective stress management, it’s absolutely possible to support hormone balance naturally and regain your overall well-being. #PCOSDiet #PCOSNutrition #PCOSLifestyle #HormoneBalance HealthyHormones WomenNutrition IrregularPeriods MenstrualHealth FertilityHealth PeriodHealth foryoupage viral

What is PCOS? What are some of the Symptoms you have to deal with? PCOS is an Endocrine condition that impacts the way women’s Ovaries function. So many of us are in the unknown about what symptoms come alongside PCOS when diagnosed. The symptoms will vary from woman to woman, and there is not one known pill to fix the way our body reacts. Each side effect will have to be treated as and when you experience them: some side effects may occur later in life so it’s important to be mindful of the changes that occur throughout the years. What are some symptoms that you face daily that I haven’t mentioned? Comment below and let’s help each Cyster out 🙏🏽 You are not alone in your PCOS journey, you have a community to the left and right of you: no longer do we need to suffer in silence. #pcos #woman #fyp #reel #fy #polycysticovariansyndrome #cysters

➡️This one needs to be handled carefully. The original content makes extreme and medically inaccurate claims. Here is a rewritten version that is honest, science backed and still impactful. These Four Foods Are Silently Damaging Female Hormonal Health Every Single Day. You are not eating junk. You are eating hormone disruptors. 1️⃣Sugar And PCOD: Excess sugar consumption causes chronic insulin spikes. Elevated insulin directly stimulates androgen production in the ovaries. This hormonal imbalance is one of the primary drivers behind PCOD development in women. Research confirms high glycemic diets significantly worsen PCOD symptoms and insulin resistance (Barr et al., 2013). 2️⃣Bakery Items And Hormonal Fertility: Refined bakery products are loaded with trans fats and refined carbohydrates. Trans fats directly impair ovulatory function and disrupt reproductive hormones making conception significantly harder over time. 3️⃣Chips And Acne: High glycemic processed snacks spike insulin rapidly. That insulin spike triggers excess sebum production in your skin. Excess sebum clogs pores and feeds acne causing bacteria. Your skin is reflecting your insulin levels. 4️⃣Sugary Drinks And Period Pain: Carbonated sugary drinks increase systemic inflammation. Higher inflammation directly amplifies prostaglandin activity which is the primary driver of menstrual cramps and period pain. ➡️The Bottom Line: These foods do not cause these conditions overnight. But consistent daily consumption creates the hormonal environment where these problems thrive. ✅Eat better. ✅Balance hormones. ✅Protect your health. #Hormona|Health #PCOD #WomenHealth #FitnessEducation #NutritionTips (Anti lnflammatory, Period Health, Skin Health,Female Wellness, Clean Eating, Hormone Balance, Consistency Matters , Train Smart, Women Fitness)

Perimenopause doesn’t start in the ovaries. It starts in the brain. Want to learn more about perimenopause and evidence-based support? Comment PREORDER to preorder The New Perimenopause today. As ovarian function becomes less predictable, the hypothalamus and pituitary increase signaling in an effort to maintain estrogen levels. That disrupted communication creates physiologic instability, and the brain does not tolerate chaos well. This is why the earliest signs of perimenopause are often neurologic, not gynecologic. These symptoms are real. They are biologically driven. And they are often missed. Understanding what’s happening is the first step toward effective care. #perimenopause #thenewperimenopause #womenshealth #midlifehealth

There’s a feedback loop at play that connects stress signals to ovarian function, aging the ovaries—this kind of loop doesn’t exist for liver or lungs…. Now that we know that sympathetic nerve fibers (fibers that deliver the chemistry of fight or flight) are running through the ovaries, we can see that stress signals increase that nerve activity, which encourages ovarian follicles to develop more quickly and causes cells around those nerves to dump chemicals that promotes the growth of these nerves, which increases nerve density, which increases the release of chemistry that reinforces fast maturation of follicles, which increases aging. At 35 your body is not geriatric, but your ovaries are aging on a much faster track than other organs in your body.
