The name of this track is "Is This Real". Because I can't believe how good @mariaemmerich's protein sparing bread recipe is. Unreal! I just made carnivore hamburger buns! And yes, they're bready and soft, and not like styrofoam. Just egg whites, a bit of cream of tartar, and Maria's masterful technique. I cooked these for 30 minutes at 325°F, and let them cool with the oven door propped open. Found the bun form on Amazon, and @keto.carnivoreish.crys gets credit for the bun form inspo! Recipe 1 1/2 cup egg white powder 1 1/2 cup water 1/2 tsp cream of tartar 1/4 cup allulose (optional but helps to brown) Mix all the ingredients on high speed with a hand mixer until you have stiff peaks. Grease a pan with some avocado or coconut oil and put it in the oven at 325•F/160•C for 30min!

Since a few of you have enquired, it's a good idea to share how i got my #eggwhitebread to rise so well. I have tested, tried, failed, tried again until i got it right. Practice makes perfect.  For the base recipe :  From the original creator of #psmf bread @mariaemmerich  https://mariamindbodyhealth.com/the-easiest-protein-sparing-bread/ (Only if you can consume yeast) For the yeasted version for well risen, tall breads, please visit :  @ketochix https://www.instagram.com/reel/CjagzcQjG1u/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= Further tips (in this reel) : 1. Whip your egg whites until really stiff. Better to over whip than under.  2. Once you mix in the fats (egg yolks or whole egg powder) please mix gently and only for a very short while like 1 min on speed 2 or 3 at the most. Over mixing at this stage causes a styrofoam texture to the bread.  3. Have your baking paper at least 1-2 inches above the baking form. Choose a straight sided baking form if you desire to have straight sides. Do not spray the paper as egg whites need to "climb" to rise. Just like baking a chiffon cake. 4. I proof my yeasted bread mixture for 45 mins to an hour in a warm oven. Simply turn on your oven to 80°C or 100°C before you start your mixer, then switch it off. I place a cup of boiling water in the oven to keep the interior moist and warm. 5. Each person's oven temperature and baking time may be different. So do try out until you get it to work for you. My oven temp has to be 150°C both top & bottom heat with fan mode. And mine was for 35mins for a regular sized loaf. Baked on the lowest rack. 6. For yeasted version, can remove the bread from the pan immediately after baking. Let it cool on a wire rack for 10mins then remove the baking paper. Whereas, the non yeasted version, leave the bread in the oven for at least 30 mins after baking time has ended. This post is for my low carb or keto friends who have eliminated sugar for whatever your dietary reasons are. Hence, eliminating bread. If you’d rather prepare your own vs. buying prepackaged, give this zero carb high protein bread a try. . This protein sparing bread recipe is from @mariaemmerich and she makes a multitude of things from this bread hot dug buns, hamburger buns, pizza crust & more. You’ll need to go to her site and grab those recipes. . 12 egg whites, separated (not a carton) 6Tbsp Allulose (this helps create a soft bread) link in my bio for sugar replacements 4 Tbsp unflavored gelatin 1 tsp salt 1 tsp cream of tartar 2/3 cup unflavored egg white protein powder (my Amazon shop) . Preheat oven to 325 F. Grease 9x5” loaf pan. Add egg whites to a chilled bowl, add allulose, gelatin, salt & cream of tartar. Beat until very very stiff peaks form (this may take up to 10-15 min if using hand held beaters). Stand up mixer approx 5 minutes. If not stiff enough, bread will fall. . Once stiff peaks appear, add egg white protein powder & blend just enough to blend in. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake 30 minutes. Turn oven off. Let sit in oven for 15 to prevent falling. Let cool & slice. .
