37 weeks. One previous C-section. She walked in with mild pains and one question ‘Doctor, can I deliver normally this time?’ Her last C-section was 5 years ago. Reason? Baby passed meconium and had cord around the neck. And here’s what many women don’t know: Not every previous C-section means the next one has to be surgery too. If the first cesarean happened for a reason that is unlikely to repeat, if the scar is healthy, baby is doing well, and labor starts naturally VBAC can be a safe option in selected cases and at a center where proper monitoring can be done. One scar does not always mean a lifetime of scars. But the decision should always be individualized, monitored, and made safely. #vbac #pregnancy #cesarean #momtobe #obstetricsandgynecology Would you go for a VBAC if everything is in its favour?

I told my doctor from the beginning I wanted to avoid getting another c-section. He said “let’s try it” and fully supported me without any “buts”. As I entered my third trimester he told me there’s a possibility I’d have to get a c section. I wasn’t discouraged but more thought “whatever God wants” By the grace of God I was able to experience a VBAC and was amazed all over again over what a woman’s body can do. If you’re doubting your ability to have a vbac after a c section, here is your sign to have faith. 🤍regardless the goal is a healthy baby ✨ #vbac #vbacbaby #laboranddelivery #storytime #csectionmom #pregnancyisbeautiful #pregnancyjourney #momof2 #mommy #godisgood #relatable #faith #foryou

Healing from a C-section is painful but nothing compares to the pain of not being able to comfort your own baby. Watching doctors use an eyelid speculum to hold her eye open so they can examine it, hearing her scream, seeing how uncomfortable she is, and just having to stand there because it needs to be done. Even with numbing drops it doesn’t take the moment away. And then after anesthesia when she wakes up disoriented, crying, and nothing you do settles her right away. That kind of helplessness is a different kind of pain. This is the part of motherhood I never expected. The strength it takes to stay steady while your baby goes through hard things. What I would've done to take away all pain she was feeling. That kind of helplessness stays with you. Staying home started as a choice to raise our daughter but now it’s so much more. #csectionmom #diagnosis #motherhoodunplugged #pfv

#saveandshare We are two moms @kanikakhannabhatia one who delivered vaginally and @gunjan_bambal delivered through a Normal delivery and C-section. And trust us, the myths people believe about both are nowhere close to reality 1. Labor pain is unbearable without an epidural in Normal Delivery.” Truth: Many manage labor pain naturally with breathing techniques, movement, and support. 2.Normal delivery is only possible for slim women. Truth: Body weight alone doesn’t determine birth outcomes. Fitness, baby’s position, and medical care matter more. 3. C section is the easy way out. Truth: It’s major surgery with its own risks, recovery pain, and emotional challenges 4. C-section babies miss out on immunity.” Truth: While vaginal births expose babies to beneficial bacteria, breastfeeding and environment balance it out. A lot of women are told that if they want a VBAC, they can “just do it.” But the reality is very different. Only about 10% of women who have had a cesarean go on to have a vaginal birth after cesarean. That means about 90% have a repeat C-section. And many times it’s not even their choice. Sometimes the doctor doesn’t support VBAC. Sometimes there isn’t a hospital nearby that offers it. Sometimes the fear after a traumatic birth feels too big to face alone. After a cesarean, many women carry the quiet belief that their body failed them. But your body is not broken. And VBAC is possible. What makes the difference for many women is the support around them. Support for the body. Support for the mind. Support for the healing that needs to happen after a difficult birth. If you want someone on your side who understands birth, trauma, and the power of rebuilding trust in your body again… Type birth coach in the comments. #pregnantwomen #vbac #vbacsuccess #birthcoach #childbirth

Do you want to give birth on your terms after a C-section? Then comment “VBAC” and I’ll send you my free checklist that helped me prep for my unmedicated birth. The odds were stacked against me — I was tiny, my first baby was 9.5 lbs, and I had an emergency C-section after 3 days of labor. But 3 years later, I had an unmedicated VBAC… and it was the most empowering moment of my life. It didn’t happen by luck. It happened because I prepared my body, my mind, and my plan. 💛 My VBAC checklist walks you through what I did step-by-step — and it’s free. Comment “VBAC” and I’ll send it straight to your inbox. @hydrojug @piquelife

“How many C-sections are safe for a woman?” This is one of the most common questions I hear after a first C-section. The truth is — 👉 There is no fixed maximum number. Some women have 2, 3, or even 4–5 C-sections safely. However, what most people don’t realize is that each repeat C-section slightly increases the risk for the mother. That’s why doctors usually advise being cautious when planning more than three C-sections, whenever possible. Why spacing matters more than numbers: Just as important as the number of C-sections is the gap between two pregnancies. ✅ Minimum recommended gap: 18 months This time allows: • Proper healing of the uterus • Physical and emotional recovery • Better outcomes in the next pregnancy • Improved chances of VBAC in selected cases Possible risks with multiple C-sections: With repeat surgeries, the chances may increase for: 🔹 Placenta previa or placenta accreta 🔹 Injury to bladder or bowel 🔹 Excessive bleeding 🔹 Uterine rupture How to reduce these risks: ✔️ Plan future pregnancies with your doctor ✔️ Maintain a healthy 18–24 month gap ✔️ Focus on nutrition and overall health ✔️ Monitor scar thickness and placenta position in every pregnancy Every woman’s body is different. So instead of worrying about numbers, focus on proper planning and medical guidance. 👉 Follow me for more pregnancy and women’s health awareness.
