Panaderia feels at home! This classic Filipino muffin bread is soft, buttery, and has that perfect salakot-style dome, just like the ones from your childhood. 🥹☕️
Fluffy inside, golden on the outside, and perfect with coffee!
Here’s the recipe I tested for this batch:
Dry:
180g all-purpose flour
8g (2 tsp) baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Wet:
100g white sugar
2 large eggs (about 100g)
130g evaporated milk
50g melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1–2 drops yellow food coloring
How to bake:
✅ Rest batter for 10–15 mins before baking
✅ Fill muffin cups 90% full
✅ Bake at 180°C for 15–18 mins
✅ Optional: brush with melted butter after baking for shine
Masaya ako sa dome nito, sobrang kababayan ng kababayan!
Next test? I’ll tweak it to be a little more moist and buttery pa.
