📍LANDMINE TRAINING📍 The landmine may be the most underrated tool in the gym. It allows you to train a TON of movements. The unique angle/pivot point can also be great for some lateral and rotational exercises. It provides extra external stability since the landmine is anchored to the floor, allowing you to push more weight without be limited by balance. The barbell allows for a high loading capacity so you can really push things. The resistance curve is great if you want to push movements in the stretch position since the landmine will be heaviest at the bottom. And probably more. Anyway, here are 5 of my favorite landmine movements in no particular order. There are definitely more, but these are the ones I probably use most frequently. 1️⃣Zercher Reverse Lunge Add a deficit like I’m doing here to increase ROM. 2️⃣Single-Leg RDL 🐐 3️⃣Meadows Row Traditionally this is done free-standing, but I love the kneeling variation to keep me honest. 4️⃣Lateral Squat/Lunge You can do these in-place or with a lunging motion. 5️⃣Half Kneeling Press Great if you have limitations in shoulder flexion.
