Contrology is the original method that Joseph Pilates taught, and it is quite different from what most of us practice today!  As John Steel, one of Joseph Pilates’ first students, explains, the routine was very specific:  🌟 25-30 exercises on the Reformer 🌟 25-30 exercises on the Mat 🌟 10 exercises on the Cadillac 🌟 3 exercises on the Ladder Barrel  🌟 4 exercises on the Chair  And you were in charge of learning and knowing the routine! That’s quite a bit different from where we are now!  We’re so grateful for people like John Steel who continue to share Joe’s legacy.
