Got to keep in mind when you’re doing the ab crunches on a lat pull down, you’ll be getting a more shortened resistance profile. It’s not exactly a direct alternative to doing it the traditional way, which would be more lengthened focused but regardless. Doing it on the lat pulldown could be easier to learn.

My current ab and core routine: 🟢 Standing weighted crunches in lat-pulldown (abs) 🟢 Side bends in GHD (obliques) 🟢 Ab-rollouts (TVA) 🟢 Reverse crunches in dips station (lower abs) 🟢 Anti-rotation planks (TVA) This is what I’ve been doing the last couple months, but looks different from a couple years ago, but my abs are still very similar. It doesn’t matter as much the specific exercises, but to do the types of movements and going heavy. All this will help build and strengthen the abs and core, however it will NOT get you visible abs faster, that comes from being at a low enough body fat percentage = changing your nutrition. If your goal is towards visible abs, then you’ll get better results by taking the 30 minutes that this workout takes and instead spend that time meal prepping high protein, low calorie meals and snacks.
