As you progress with your training, build muscle and get stronger there will come a point where “perfect form” starts holding you back. This is where “forced repetitions” come in. It’s NOT ego lifting, it’s utilizing a spotter or a bit of momentum to help you push through a rep you otherwise wouldnt be able to do. The time you spent training with perfect form helped you build the mind-muscle connection needed to maintain control, even when performing a forced rep. So if you are new to training, don’t be the ego-lifter. Put in your time, build your base and then progress from there. ✅ If interested in coaching. Don't get me wrong, they have their place, but seriously... Why is it that every one feels the need to perform cable movements with a cuff these days 😒 Cuffed lateral delt raise, cuffed pec fly, cuffed cable chest press, cuffed tricep extension. When did we forget we have hands, forearm muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints that are designed to hold things 😂 I mean yeah, you see people using a cuff around their ankle do to a cable glute kickback, but FYI thats because our feet cant exactly hold a D-handle, our hands can.. If you're not meticulous when it comes to your sleep, nutrition, performance and other training variables, but you insist on using equipment like this in the gym from week 1 - you're doing it all wrong.
