This limits your range of motion and reduces the stretch on your last and traps. To maximize engagement, let your shoulder blades protract (move apart ) when your arms are fully extended, then retract them aş you pull the handle towards your belly button. At full extension, it’s normal for your upper back to round slightly — this helps your shoulder blades fully separate and allows a deeper stretch in the lats and traps. As you pull, gradually straighten or slightly arch your back to achieve a strong contraction through the lats and mid-back.
