ai is enabling quantum for so long quantum was a lab experiment because it was so expensive and difficult to run real experiments on these qubits recently, however these AI models from @quantinuumqc and riverlane proved that specialized AI models can monitor qubits in real-time, predicting and fixing errors before they happen. Google's Willow chip is also using AI-Quantum feedback loop to perform a calculation in <5 minutes, which would've taken a classical supercomputer 10 septillion years!! what an exciting time to live in right now #quantum #ai #startup #tech

It’s really beautiful, almost as beautiful as the 80486, which for me is still the most impressive processor to look at. The Intel Pentium is an x86 architecture microprocessor announced by Intel on 22 March 1993. The successor to the Intel 80486, it is the first microprocessor to use the Pentium trademark, and is sometimes referred to as the ‘original Pentium’ to differentiate it from more recent microprocessors also sold under that name. The fifth generation of the x86 family, it has been called P5, and sometimes i586. Pentium FDIV bug : In October 1994, Professor Thomas Nicely1 from the University of Lynchburg revealed a malfunction in the Pentium’s floating point calculation unit when calculating the Brun constant. He realised that certain division operations always returned an erroneous value in excess on this processor. These division errors were quickly confirmed by other people. 🇫🇷J’ai trouvé un pentium p5 de 90MHz. LIFE'S QUANTUM COMPUTING New research from Howard University and researcher Philip Kurian suggests that life on Earth has used quantum computing- sensing, information processing, responding and learning- to process almost as much information as the universe is theoretically capable of. Kurian's previous research looked at tryptophan in the cytoskeleton of living organisms and its ability to perform superradiance. The benzene ring of tryptophan can capture a photon of light and emit it at a lower frequency. When many tryptophan molecules are arranged in a symmetrical network, they can do this much stronger and at a faster rate. Kurian's current research looks at this process in the history of life on Earth, not just in neurons but even simple organisms without a brain like plants and bacteria. He found that life has processed as much information as the universe is theoretically capable of, which has incredible impacts on our ideas of quantum biology, quantum computing and consciousness. We look to quantum computers as the next best thing. This is a reminder of the power of life. We are not separate from the universe. We are the universe, intelligent and magnificent.
