One of my favorite exercises for stability training! Why?? This exercise helps dancers improve stability and balance, lower body strength of the standing leg, and focus on knee-foot alignment. ✨You can make this exercise easier for beginner dancers by having them stand on flat ground or even hold onto a barre. ✨For intermediate/advanced dancers, you can have them stand on a single yoga block to increase proprioception or 2 yoga blocks with a small space between them (as demonstrated in the video) to challenge their stability and foot arch strength.
