Instead, pull with your elbows above shoulder level, around ear height. 🔴 Mistake #3: Pulling Too Low Pulling toward your chest/neck places more emphasis on the traps and less on the rear delts. Instead, aim to pull toward your face, around eye level to maximize rear delt activation. 🔴 Mistake #4: Hands Too Close Together Your hands may start close together, but as you pull, gradually spread them apart, finishing wider than your ears for full rear delt engagement. ✅ Fix these mistakes, and you'll get the most out of your face pulls! #facepull #facepulls

Le Facepull est particulièrement bénéfique pour contrebalancer les exercices de poussée et préserver la santé des épaules à long terme. Le Facepull est un exercice intéressant pour renforcer les deltoïdes postérieurs, les trapèzes, mais également les muscles de la coiffe des rotateurs ! Contribuant ainsi à améliorer la posture et à réduire les déséquilibres musculaires au niveau des épaules. C’est un exercice très interessant dans le cadre d’une Re-athlétisation, réhabilitation, mobilité de l’épaule, stabilité scapulaire ou même en échauffement ☝🏻 Également en hypertrophie, même si ce n’est pas le meilleur exercice dans cette optique. Le Facepull est également un mouvement préventif, car il aide à renforcer les muscles de la partie supérieure du dos. C’est un excellent exercice pour le renforcement globale de tout l’arrière du haut de votre corps 🙂‍↕️. Pour bien l’exécuter, il faut régler la poulie à la hauteur de la tête afin de permettre une trajectoire naturelle du mouvement. ☝🏻✅ Une prise en suicide grip (les pouces au-dessus) facilite un tirage plus fluide, et une meilleure liberté au niveau de vos poignées ✅. Lors du mouvement, il est intéressant de tirer le câble vers le front, ce qui rend l’exercice moins contraignant pour l’articulation de l’épaule et favorise une bonne rétraction scapulaire ✅💪 Vous pouvez tirer plus bas, c’est possible ! Mais ce n’est pas le but recherché ici ☝🏻 Dans la vidéo, le ❌ est là pour guider le bon positionnement, que ce soit pour la hauteur de la poulie, le placement des poignets.
